Umbrella Roasters – Refund / Return Policy & Subscription Service Policy
We take pride in every batch we roast and want you to be completely satisfied with your Umbrella Roasters purchase.
1. Coffee Products (Perishable Items)
All roasted coffee sales are final due to the perishable nature of the product.
However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective:
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at umbrellaroasters@gmail.com.
Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and a photo if applicable.
We’ll work with you to make it right — through a replacement, refund, or store credit, at our discretion.
2. Non-Coffee Merchandise
For items such as mugs, apparel, or brewing accessories:
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in new condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

3. Subscription Orders
You may cancel or pause your coffee subscription anytime before your next billing cycle. Refunds will not be issued for coffee that has already been roasted or shipped.
At Umbrella Roasters, we roast fresh, small-batch specialty coffee only once each month to ensure quality, consistency, and peak flavor in every bag.
Here’s how our monthly roasting plan works:
Order Anytime: Place your order or subscription anytime during the month.
Orders received before our monthly roast day will be included in that batch.Fresh Roast Day: We roast once a month, right here in Mount Vernon, Washington. Roasting only once allows us to focus on freshness, craftsmanship, and quality — the same care that’s been part of our family tradition for generations.
Shipments Go Out Together: As soon as the coffee is roasted, it’s packed, sealed, and shipped within a few days. That means every customer receives beans at their freshest — roasted within the same week.
Fresh Coffee, Every Month: You’ll receive your freshly roasted coffee shortly after roast day. Subscribers don’t need to do anything — your order automatically ships each month.
4. Exchanges
We only replace defective or damaged items. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, email umbrellaroasters@gmail.com.
5. Refund Processing
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for processing, depending on your payment provider.

4. Shipping and Fulfillment
We roast and ship coffee from Mount Vernon, Washington.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days unless otherwise noted (e.g., subscription shipments or roast days - see Subscription Services above for more information).
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect addresses or carrier delays.
5. Returns and Refunds
Because our coffee is a perishable product, all sales are final.
However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at umbrellaroasters@gmail.com within 7 days of receipt. We will review and may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Non-coffee merchandise (e.g., mugs, apparel) may be eligible for returns within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging.
6. Subscriptions
Subscription plans allow customers to receive recurring coffee deliveries.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing to your payment method until you cancel.
